Medical update No 14
Pikey has had a quietish day today and saw the consultant again this morning – twice in two days!!! It must be a record!!!!
We are still trying to work out how they can admit someone to hospital and put her under the care of a consultant who was on holiday and not due back for ten days.
Pikey is quite cheerful and has been able to get off her bed and onto her own wheelchair despite being tethered by the catheter and its bag. Yesterday they forgot to close the valve at bottom of the bag!!! Result pee all over the floor!!!!
More tests tomorrow at 10.30am to investigate her right lung.
Just to compound all the problems the lock on the front door at home has jammed shut. Locksmith due tomorrow morning. At least that keeps Robert busy!!!!
Loads of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ from Robert and Pikey
