This evening Pikey rang Robert at home to ask him to ring the desk on Ward 4 because she had been left on her commode for 70 minutes and they had not left her bell near enough for her to reach to call for help. Neither had the nurses thought of checking her. Luckily when Elinor and Robert went in this afternoon they had tied a strap to her TV and phone machine so she was able to pull it down to phone home.
UNBELIEVABLE.....but sadly a true story.
