Medical update No 12a

Edward tells me it should be Medical Update No 14 as the Yanks ignore 13 or 12a but I know that some one will think I can’t count so it’s 12a – not 13 or even 14.

Robert spent to morning haranguing the NHS and demanding to see the consultant who had not seen since she was admitted as he was on holiday!!!! It worked and we both saw him this afternoon. He said that the pneumonia inflammation was at last responding to the antibiotics but he wanted the “respiratory team” to have a look as there is still some form of problem (unspecified) with her right lung.

His conclusion was that, despite the problems of nurse shortage in the RLI, she was better off staying put. In the RLI they have the medical facilities and no nurses and in the private hospital they have the nurses but not the medical facilities!!!! As Robert always says “Heigh Ho”.

This morning BT causes a breakdown of the hospital patient line so Robert and Pikey could not talk!!!!!

A pretty frustrating day but at least we have a consultant’s considered view.

Loads of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ from Robert and Pikey

This blog is usually published every Friday (tea-time-ish) to keep you up to date with the goings on of and thoughts from one old codger at Summerhill Stables and one still in the battle zone at Ward 4, Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
