Robert has come to the conclusion that the Yanks have a sense of humour (or should it be humor?) but can’t spell...........................................................….and the Germans can spell but haven’t got a sense of humour.

Pikey has now had it confirmed that she will be having her back operation next Saturday, 8th September.


The result of Robert’s X-ray on his left knee last week was that the radiologist could not detect anything seriously wrong apart from 70 years of wear and tear. His doctor is arranging for him to see an orthopaedic surgeon – she thinks he will suggest an arthroscopy.
