"Haste ye back"
On the back of most town and village signs the text is usually "Thank you for driving carefully" - this does not often apply to Robert! - but in Scotland especially the nearer the English border you get they often put the phrase "Haste ye back" on the reverse of the signs. This is either an invitation to come back or an encouragement to speed.
Anyway our holiday cottage was great and suited us fine - only Brindley wanted to escape!! We got to Caerlaverock Castle and Wild Life Reserve, Threave Gardens, Mabie and Clatteringshaws Forests. Pictures next week.
Our holiday was a great break although the weather was not perfect and Robert managed to wreck his left knee which means he is now limping nearly as much as Pikey.
Glad to be home as usual!!
Love to all
Robert and Pikey
