It's been a week of visits - some nice - one not so nice - you choose.

On Tuesday we both went to the dentist at Hest Bank - what great fun a trip to the tooth doctor is. The best thing about this one is that the waiting room has a fantabulous view out over Morecambe Bay - it's nearly worth going just for that.

That afternoon Robert's cousin Lesley came for tea so we had a good old natter about the family tree project which Robert is growing at a great rate. He has got back to 1000AD on his mother's side and then he thought that he should stop. In two weeks flat with the help of the internet he has discovered Pikey's great grandfather and all his relations in Jersey about which the entire family knew nothing at all before. The total roll call on the web site is well over a thousand names.

Then on Wednesday Laura , Pikey's niece from Canada arrived with her husband Marcus Heath and six month old baby boy called Austin. With her she also brought her mother-in-law. We all got on absolutely fine. They (less ma-in-law) have gone up Ingleborough and I am in the middle of cooking supper for seven as Elinor and Phil are coming down for supper. Must dash as the spuds are probably boiling over!!!

A rather unflattering picture of ma-in-law and
a slightly better picture of the youngsters.
Loads of love from Robert and Pikey
