INFURIATING PHRASES (or pronunciation to be accurate) No 9
C. difficile. This refers to the well known "super" bug ("super" because it’s a bug which can easily be elimainated by washing your hands and getting everyone else in the hospital to do so). Any way Clostridium difficile is, of course, a Latin name – so why pronounce it to rhyme with Lucille – those Frogs get everywhere, don't they?

Pikey is still doing well and Robert is improving health-wise daily – improvement in other areas is unlikely at his age.

A quiet week all in all.

Love Robert and Pikey

Dear Pikey & Robert
Very glad to hear the good news that Pikey is feeling much better and that Robert is recovering from the arthroscopy.
Just to confirm that we are going to see Tid & Joy next August on our way to the Northwest Passage expedition, and then come on to England to see Nicky in September for about 4 weeks, with a trip up north to you at the top of the agenda, all being well.
We have a General Election here next Saturday which promises to be interesting. One of our household is planning to throw out the Prime Minister but the older one will probably frustrate this ambition with her opposite vote!!

The only person who can delete a comment is the site's administrator and that's me (Robert) or Pikey if she knew how to work the computer - keep 'em in the dark is my motto.

Actually I had put on a comment myself which I later realised was inaccurate so I deleted my own comment!!!! I don't often admit to mistakes.

Oops - Robert
