We had a successful trip to the orthopaedic consultant today. They have taken off the full length rigid plaster cast and substituted a one thermoplastic which is hinged at the knee so she can flex it 30 degrees. The consultant and the registrar both agreed that the bones were at last beginning to knit together. Pikey will be in the new contraption for another three months. The hospital trip took nine hours door to door so we are knackered this evening and about to drink heavily.
The new sewage system for Low Bottom is now complete and hopefully working well. So Robert can relax and just try and pay for it
Two more neologisms……
“Willy-nilly”, impotent.
“Negligent”, in a condition in which you absentmindedly answer the door in your nightgown.
We have used a new header for the blog which is a photograph of the roses alongside our drive. Everything is growing like mad after all the rain we have had recently. Robert mowed the lawns this week and managed to completely fill the garden rubbish wheelie bin.
Loads of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ from Robert and Pikey
