For those of you who didn’t know (or didn’t remember) it was our ruby wedding anniversary on Sunday. We had a small party for some local friends at lunch time and drank a substantial amount of champagne. Elinor and Phil were a great help with all the preparations. Adam was there all the time and behaved beautifully and never cried.
We got a display of photos up on a board which provoked much laughter.
Here’s one….. we haven’t changed a bit, have we??!!
Pikey’s new brace has worked although it tends to work its way down her leg; this caused her foot to swell up quite alarmingly. So we went to the hospital today to have that problem resolved ….. hopefully.

Two more neologisms. Lymph, to walk with a lisp. Flatulence, emergency vehicle that picks you up after you’ve been run over by a steamroller.

A new sign has just gone up in the NatWest Bank in Lancaster it reads:-
'Please note that we have installed new Drive-through cash machines enabling customers to withdraw cash without leaving their vehicles.
