GOOD NEWS. Edward sent an email yesterday with some news. He wrote “One piece of news is that I'm going to work for the Wall Street Journal, starting in about mid June. I'm going to be an editor on the National desk, i.e US news. It's a fairly big job.”
We are still fighting the battle of the stair-lift and have now re-altered the false floor in the passage to their revised requirements and hopefully the apparatus will be completed next week.
Pikey is due to see the orthopaedic surgeon next Friday and possibly get re-fitted with a half leg plaster so she can bend her knee. She saw the physiotherapist today who is pleased with her progress and hopefully we will get back to square one – wherever that was – in due course.
