We've had our first "chemo-free" week for three months and Pikey is feeling a good deal better - much less tired and her insides are nearly behaving.

She has been working hard with Elinor sorting out an absolute mountain of baby clothes given to her by all her friends who are already mothers and who hope that "that is the end of it".

The weather has been very changeable but it does mean that when Robert gets up for his early morning pee and goes down the passage to his bathroom he sees the occasional fantastic sunrise over Ingleborough.

We haven't seen much of the Tippings this week as their son's family descended on them unexpectedly; they were on holiday when their younger grandson developed scarlet fever - when was the last time you witnessed that old childhood disease? - and so they came to stay at the Pear Tree Cottage Sanatorium (Matron: Margaret Tipping SRN MKA etc etc) and, of course, chez Tippings became forbidden territory what with Pikey's reduced immunity.

Loads of love ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from Robert and Pikey.
