We think that spring has now finally sprung – the snow drops have been out for some time .....
.....and now the first crocus has just erupted!!
Pikey went quilting on Tuesday and there were not many people there as it's half term here in Yorkshire and some of the quilters must have been on grandchild duty. Robert said "It's just as noisy as usual as the group do far more yacking than quilting – WOMEN!!!"

Today we have had five men working on the first floor – so we have been confined to the kitchen and the sitting room They are widening the shower room door so that Pikey can get a self driven wheelchair through it – at present she has to use a commode chair which only has foot controlled brakes and which was the cause of her fall last month. They are also fitting electric remote controls on the eight Velux windows so that we can open and shut them easily and also operate the blinds. They also have rain sensors which shut the windows when it rains.

By the way, Pikey's shoulder has now fully recovered.

Loads of love

Robert and Pikey

note for confused American readers: for 'first floor' read 'second floor'.
