We’ve had a good week.
First thing Monday Angela arrived so the house looks a lot more respectable.
Then that at lunch Kate came down for the flying visit and we caught up with all her news; she had to dash back on Tuesday afternoon to deal with Beavers and all her other activities. It was really good to see her looking so chipper – that’s an "in-word" for happy, or that’s what Robert thinks.
On Wednesday Robert had to drive there and back to Morecambe twice to get the car serviced – tiring but "no probs with the motor".
Yesterday Robert set about teaching Pikey how to work a computer with great success. She’s got her own email address now; it’s pikeyholl@yahoo.co.uk. This picture is a retro-anthropomorphic representation of Pikey’s attitude to computers …..
….and this picture shows the situation in Summerhill Stables Communications Department (Female Division) today but she has yet to do the blog!!!
Today the stair-lift folk came to extract the cardboard repair and fit the new controls and, despite it being Friday the Thirteenth, all went well – phew!!!!
