It is not in Robert’s nature to conclude that words fail him but they do. After nearly two months of prevarication BT now say that they still haven’t got the written permission from the Dennises on whose land the fault in the cable is. This despite having earlier admitted that they had got it.

Pikey has spoken to Mrs Dennis who has assured her they signed all the necessary paperwork weeks ago. Any way Margaret Tipping from next door is due back from the Bahamas on Sunday and she will go absolutely bananas (if not back to the Bahamas) with them when she finds out. Robert is going to take a back seat which is also not in his nature.

Robyn, Tony and Annie were here all week which was lovely and took our minds off BT for a short while. It’s snowed, rained, sleeted and hailed all week and the whole area was a sheet of ice and the local council have apparently run out of salt to grit the roads with because their money has run out!! It’s just like the Third World here except a bloody sight colder!!

At least the Ferrari is back but Pikey hasn’t yet tested out its capability on ice.

Loads of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from Robert and Pikey.

It could be worse...

To quote A.A.Milne..
'It's snowing still,'said Eeyore gloomily.
'So it is' Said C-R
'And freezing.'
'Is it?'
'Yes' said Eeyore. 'However,' he said, 'brightening up a little, we haven't had an earthquake lately.'

Thanks for putting up with our descent on you! Tony is convinced that Leeds Bradford runway needs resurfacing and we came dangerously close to the rooftops of Southampton but back home by 11am. Robyn XXXXX

Oh no! Well, thanks for the ace reporting on the district as usual. Also, I love Robyn's quote that's above! Fab.
