All the news (good or bad) from Summerhill Stables

Boxing Day – or rather "Hacking Day" as Robert is sitting outside someone else’s house in a cold car hacking into someone else’s wireless network.

Well, the BT engineers reconnected the faulty cable and the result was fourfold.

Firstly, BT rang us up to say that they had reconnected the cable.

Secondly, they un-diverted us so incoming calls no longer go to the mobile.

Thirdly, they connected the wires up wrongly so the Tippings’ calls go to a neighbouring farmer - but they’re in Devon until the New Year so does that really matter?

Fourthly, we still have no internet connection as there is still a nasty buzz on our phone line (which apparently disables a broadband connection) – this was the original fault which Pikey reported at the beginning of October!!!!!

So the Christmas spirit was really on Robert. But he won all the games we played when Elinor and Phil came down on Christmas Day. He believes that there still is a God somewhere.

Our confident prediction - the B T Battle will continue well into 2009 and possibly into 2010 as well – especially over the compensation.

Despite all this loads of Christmas cheer and of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from Robert and Pikey.
