All the news (good or bad) from Summerhill Stables

Still not phone or internet connection!!! We are getting quite used to this now. Our phone calls have been diverted to a mobile we had to buy.

On Saturday Pikey had an "away day" to the RHS garden at Harlow Carr with Elinor and Phil and Robert guarded the fort and awaiting the usual confetti shower or debit and credit cards slips. Actually he was pleasantly surprised. However Elinor went down the next day with an upset tummy and Pikey succumbed by Monday and spent two days in bed – that comes of going to Betty’s Tearooms at Harlow Carr.

That meant that we had to postpone our usual four weekly trip to Barrow to see the haematologist which has now been rescheduled for Monday.

The Tippings, our neighbours in front, have gone today the Bahamas for three weeks to catch the sun so we’ll be watching the weather forecasts there to see if they’ve wasted their money or not.
