Well - the day has come at last and Robert is due in hospital this afternoon to have his left leg sorted. Even at this late juncture we half expect the sawbones to ring up and claim to have cut himself again!!! All the kind pepole who have agreed to look after Pikey while her carer in hospital and afterwards are in place so God help the surgeon if he cocks it up again.
Robyn has manfully (even though she’s girl!) agreed to update the blog when ever it needs to be done but Robert is determined to do next Friday’s edition himself.
Robyn has been on the local radio in Sussex spouting on about the refurbishment of Chichester Canal Basin – we thought it was rather good and if you want to have a listen go to the link by clicking on http://www.spiritfm.net/features/11969.html
Alternatively you may like to see her firm’s web-site which tells you what she does for a living. She’s the 2ic there. www.terrafirmaconsultancy.com
Robert heard of a fellow OAP who had serious hearing problems for a number of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed him to hear 100%. He went back in a month to the doctor for a check-up on the hearing aid and the doctor said, 'Your hearing is now near perfect; your family must be really pleased that you can hear at last.'He replied, 'Oh, I haven't told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I've changed my will three times!' Now there’s a thought!!!
Loads of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Robert and Pikey.
