All the news (good or bad) from Summerhill Stables

Well, we've had an exhausting week.

We have been to Preston Royal Infirmary every day this week. The radiotherapy has gone quite smoothly with the exception of Pikey feeling very cold after two of the sessions when we got home. The chemotherapy is just a question of takng the pills and now they have halved the thalidomide dose Pikey does not feel quite so zonked out. She takes them last thing at night so she sleeps through the "zonked out" period - but God how she snores!!!

Not really much other news. Elinor and Phil are having gloroius weather in Scotland - there's climate change for you - and Kate is going up to Glencoe to be with them this weekend as she did last weekend.

Next week we just have Robert's pre-op assessment and the last radiotherapy session both on Monday. Tuesday thru Friday (as the Yanks would say) clear of the medics.
