Some pictures to make up for last week's gloom.....
The top one is of Gemma with a pet rabbit at Longdown Farm last weekend - we don't think she's trying to poke its eye out. This completes the set of pictures of grandchildren with animals except for one of Charlie - off a bike and with an animal in the cuddle position, please, Kate!!!
The next one down is of Edward and Susie's Hugo, Edith (Susie's mother) with Daisy her dog.

Then there's ewe number 20 with her lamb outside our kitchen window - the lambs arrived this week and are having their usual running races up and down the fence. The last one is of some daffodils in our garden rather early.
Pikey saw the quack today and has been pronounced well on the way to recovery but she (the quack) said recovery for a fit person would take about 2 to 3 weeks and in Pikey's case a lot longer - so we are out of the woods, very definitely, but not yet on the clear fresh uplands.
Love to all from Robert and Pikey.
PS Robert has yet to master the right layout technique for the blog so cannot quite predict how it will look like when published over the airwaves.
