Pikey’s great great uncle, William Henry Barker (1828-1913) was Manager of the Liverpool to Birkenhead Ferry – "Ferry ‘cross the Mersey".

Would you dare use it????We have had a quiet week although the reduction in Pikey’s chemo dose does not seem to have made a vast improvement to her Thursdays and Fridays.
Pikey went out for a shopping jolly in Kendal on Tuesday and we have been returning most of the purchases to M&S ever since!!!
The family tree research goes on apace and the web site has now got over a thousand names on it.
