Too busy for photographs this week……. Monday to the vets in Kirkby Lonsdale….Tuesday to the practice nurse in Bentham…..Wednesday to the neuro-surgeon in Preston……Thursday to the practice nurse in Bentham…... Friday to the mobile mammogram unit in Settle and to the doctor in Bentham…..and it rained every single day!! But we are still cheerful.
The neuro-surgeon has now decided that the time has come for major surgery on Pikey’s spine which is giving her such pain and making it difficult to walk. It is being fixed for the first week in September. He is away for all August so it couldn’t be before then.

PS One Bernard Manning joke we really enjoyed was the story of how, when he was visiting an old people’s home, he asked one old lady who was staring blankly at him if she knew who he was. She replied "No, but if you ask Matron she will tell you!"
