Last week was a rather mixed week.
We got to Barrow on Monday for the re-arranged appointment with Pikey’s consultant to find he was ill. There was no doctor available to prescribe any more medication so the highly efficient sister arranged for the medication to be delivered to the surgery at Bentham. The stupid van driver delivered them (despite clear labelling) to the Path Lab at Lancaster Royal Infirmary instead. I on’t bore you with why he did that but in the end on Thursday we got them all.
On Wednesday I went to see my cardiac consultant and he is arranging for me to see another consultant in Blackpool with a view to deciding whether or not I should now have a heart bypass operation.
Another fun and action packed week – heigh ho.
