This is the third entry on this site for those who have not seen it before. They appear in reverse order so there are two below this one.
Last week was a curate’s egg week. Pikey has had a reasonably good week on a lower dose of steroids but has had one excitement in keeling over on the landing one morning which we have put down to the fact that she has been waking early and not having breakfast for two or three hours. Having breakfast in our dressing gowns should sort that out. Pikey is due to see the consultant at Barrow again this Friday – more anon.
This week Robert had an angiogram as he has a touch of angina and we both wanted to know what the score was before we embarked on the stem cell treatment. It was fine and the consultant said that, although there was some "modest" narrowing of the arteries, he should be fine by keeping up with the medication.
Otherwise we are absolutely fine and looking forward to the utility room being refitted next week.
Robert and Pikey
